*Waxing aftercare:

  • Do not apply makeup, other than loose powder, for two hours after facial waxing.

  • Do not apply highly fragrant oils or lotions over the waxed area.

  • Avoid excessively hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms for several hours after waxing.

  • Do not use harsh or detergent soaps over waxed areas immediately following service.

  • Avoid exposing the waxed areas to sun or tanning beds for at least 24 hours following the service.

  • Discontinue use of physical or chemical exfoliants for 24 hours following the service.

  • Do not swim in lakes, rivers, or oceans the same day of waxing services to avoid skin rashes and reactions. 

  • To prevent ingrowns, exfoliate area 2-3 times a week, and use Finipil daily after shower

  • You are more sensitive the week before your menstrual cycle so try to avoiding getting waxed during that time.

*Preparation for a peel treatment:

  • Do not go to a tanning bed two weeks prior to treatment.

  • It is recommended that extended sun exposure be avoided 10 days prior to treatment.

  • It is also recommended to delay the use of tretinoin, Retina-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo®, Ziana®, and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately five days prior to treamtent. Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

​**48 hours post-procedure:

  • Stay cool! Heating internally can cause hyperpigmentation.

  • Do not put the treated area directly into a hot shower spray.

  • Do not use hot tubs, steam rooms, or saunas.

  • Do not go swimming.

  • Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration.

  • Do not use loofahs or other means of mechanical exfoliation.

  • Do not direct a hair dryer onto the treated area.

  • Do not apply ice or ice water to the treated area.
